Joseph Burress Harlow 
Joseph Burress was born about 1875 in Orange Co., Virginia. Joseph Burress' father was James Garland Harlow and his mother was Susan Ann Tinder. His paternal grandparents were James Richard Harlow and Rebecca B. White; his maternal grandparents were James R. Tinder and Emily Sanders. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas Jefferson, James Dickerson, Adolphus, Lucian Minor, Willie P. and Annie Burrus. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Chester Lee, George Raymond, Virgie Florence and Ora Mae. He died about 1950.-
