James Garland Harlow 
James Garland was born on May 27th, 1841. James Garland's father was James Richard Harlow and his mother was Rebecca B. White. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Harlow and Susannah ?; his maternal grandfather was John White. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Lucian Minor, Richard Field, Thomas Gates, Philip Henry, John W., Susan Jane, Mary Ann and Frances Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 in 1923.-
