John Jefferson Harding 
John Jefferson was born in December 1881 in Marysville, California. John Jefferson's father was John Richmond Harding and his mother was Sarah A. Rowe. His paternal grandparents were Charles Harding and ? Garbey; his maternal grandparents were David P. Rowe and Alameda Holloway. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Charles "Dick" Arthur, William Francis "Frank", Annie E., Ola Edith and S. Loreen. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 59 in October 1941 in Placerville, California.-
