Alva Pearl Davis

Alva Pearl was born on January 19th, 1903 in E. Marshall Street, Richmond, VA. Alva Pearl's father was Jenifer Paul Davis and her mother was Cora Lee Tinsley. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Davis and Rosa Bell Camp; her maternal grandparents were Albert Newton Tinsley and Elizabeth B. Smith. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Jenifer Paul, George Boyce, Walter Francis, Rosa Elizabeth, Madge Booker and Gladys Genevieve. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died due to cancer at the age of 83 on July 12th, 1986 in her home at 4132 Wistar Road, Henrico Co., VA. She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Goochland, VA.
