Hatton William Collard 
Hatton William was born in 1917. Hatton William's father was George Washington Collard and his mother was Sallie L. Ruffin. His maternal grandparents were Henry James Ruffin and Winnie Virginia Jinks. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Henry W., Charles L., Franklin George, Clyde Vernon, Hugh Joseph, Theodore Roosevelt, Joe Edward and Genevieve. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
