Charles L. Collard 
Charles L. was born in 1902. Charles L.'s father was George Washington Collard and his mother was Sallie L. Ruffin. His maternal grandparents were Henry James Ruffin and Winnie Virginia Jinks. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Henry W., Franklin George, Clyde Vernon, Hugh Joseph, Theodore Roosevelt, Hatton William, Joe Edward and Genevieve. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 2 in 1904.
