John Monro Cocke 
John Monro's father was Henry Harrison Cocke and his mother was Emily C. Banister. His paternal grandparents were Walter Cocke and Anne Carter Harrison; his maternal grandparents were John Monro Banister and Mary Burton Augusta Bolling. He had a brother and three sisters, named Harrison Henry, Emily Augusta Bolling, Ann Harrison and Mary Monro. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Henry Harrison, Tarifa, Eliza and Juliana Ruffin.-
