Clarence Henry was born on October 13th, 1892 in Louisa, VA. Clarence Henry's father was William Henry Carter and his mother was Gertrude J. Grubbs. His paternal grandparents were Lewis M. Carter and Delilah Frances Butler; his maternal grandparents were Frederick J. Grubbs and Sallie A. Newman. He had a brother named Vasco Terrell. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 74 on May 30th, 1967 in Richmond, VA. He was buried on June 1st, 1967 in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Goochland Co., VA.-
