William George Carroll

William George was born on May 25th, 1824.¹   William George's father was John Carroll and his mother was Mary Perkins.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Carroll and Tabitha Reynolds; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Perkins and Elizabeth Price. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James Owen, John, Andrew, John Lewis, Charles, George H., Charles Henry, Sarah Perkins, Mary Susan and Eliza Jane.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
