James Owen Carroll

James Owen was born on December 30th, 1817.¹   James Owen's father was John Carroll and his mother was Mary Perkins.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Carroll and Tabitha Reynolds; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Perkins and Elizabeth Price. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Andrew, John Lewis, William George, Charles, George H., Charles Henry, Sarah Perkins, Mary Susan and Eliza Jane.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 43 on October 10th, 1861.¹
