Susie Mildred was born on August 18th, 1909 in near Bell'sCrossroads, Louisa Co., VA. Susie Mildred's father was George Kelly Butler and her mother was Frances Elizabeth Harlow. Her paternal grandparents were James Oscar Butler and Mildred Susan Butler; her maternal grandparents were William James Harlow and Susan E. Gilbert. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John James, Percy T., Wilmer, Willard, Thomas Henry, Annie Pearl, Georgia Elizabeth, Eva and Esther. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 87 on November 28th, 1996 in Nursing home, Louisa, VA. She was buried on December 1st, 1996 in Hillcrest Cemetary, Louisa, VA.-
