Isabel Fitz was born in 1233 in Shere, Surrey, , England.1 Isabel Fitz's father was John Fitzgeoffrey and her mother was *Isabel Le Bigod. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey Fitz Piers Earl of Essex and *Aveline De Clare; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Le Bigod and Maud Marshall. She had a brother and three sisters, named John Fitz, Maud, Aveline and Joan. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 68 on April 16th, 1301 in Shap Abbey, , Westmoreland, England.1 -
