Lysander Valeneous Mitchell 
Lysander Valeneous was born on March 19th, 1839 in Georgia. Lysander Valeneous' father was Col. Daniel Randolph Mitchell and his mother was Elizabeth Mann. His paternal grandparents were James Mitchell and Mary Mohler; his maternal grandparents were Arnold Mann and Rebecca Wright. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Lucius Cornelius, Leandas T., Leonidas Timoleon, Lycurgus James, Daniel Randolph, Mary A., Georgia Ann, Minerva Elizabeth, Roxanna Rebecca, Mary Jane and Florence Taylor. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 2 on January 3rd, 1842.-
