Leandas T. Mitchell 
Leandas T. was born about 1839 in Georgia. Leandas T.'s father was Col. Daniel Randolph Mitchell and his mother was Elizabeth Mann. His paternal grandparents were James Mitchell and Mary Mohler; his maternal grandparents were Arnold Mann and Rebecca Wright. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Lucius Cornelius, Lysander Valeneous, Leonidas Timoleon, Lycurgus James, Daniel Randolph, Mary A., Georgia Ann, Minerva Elizabeth, Roxanna Rebecca, Mary Jane and Florence Taylor. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.-
