Peter Joy

Peter was born about 1720 in St. Mary's Co., MD.¹ Peter's father was John Baptist Joy and his mother was Mary Hazel. His paternal grandfather is Peter Joy and his paternal grandmother was Ann Stone. He had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Eleanor, Ann and Mary. He was the oldest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas Tarlton, John, Benedic, Stephen, Mildred and Elizabeth.
