Gordon Lambert was born in 1851 in Goudhurst, Kent.  Gordon Lambert's father was George Lambert STANLEY and his mother was Keturah UDALL.  His paternal grandparents were David STANLEY and Ann LAMBERT; his maternal grandparents were Jesse UDALL and Ann. He had six brothers and three sisters, named George, David, Horace, Albert Edger, Herbert Henry, Jesse Augustus, Catherine Southey, Edith Keturah and Mary Keturah.  He died at the age of 55 in 1906 in Malling District.
