Elizabeth was born in 1744 in Boughton Malherbe, Kent.  Elizabeth's father was William BOORMAN and her mother was Mary SEXBY.  Her paternal grandparents are Isaac BOURMAN and Mary EARLS. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Francis, Thomas, Mary, Susannah and Sarah.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
