Ellen Carter

Ellen was born in 1871 in East Anstey, Devon. Ellen's father was Richard Carter and her mother was Ann Melhuish. Her paternal grandparents were Stephen Carter and Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were Robert Melhuish and Ann. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, John, Richard, Mary Ann, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth and Anna. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 62 on December 12th, 1933 in Abbots Park, Molland.
