Sarah was born in 1785.  Sarah's father was James Christy and her mother was Mary Campbell.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Christy and Mary Margaret Wilson; her maternal grandfather was Thomas Campbell and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had six brothers and a sister, named John, Andrew, William, Jermy, James, Joseph and Jannet.  She was the youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named David, Nancy, Mary, Ann and Jane.  She died at the age of 26 in 1811.
