Male William Eaton Gammon

William Eaton was born on April 29th, 1827 in Knox, Tennessee, United States.1   William Eaton's father was Dozier Brawner Gammon and his mother was Lavina Letitia Turbeville.  His paternal grandparents were Harris Gammon and Elizabeth Bettie Brawner. He had five brothers and a sister, named George Washington, John W, James Wilkenson, Hugh C, Lee Harris and Minerva Jane.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 89 on July 26th, 1916 in Leon, Decatur, Iowa, United States.  He was buried in 1916 in Leon, Decatur, Iowa, United States.2
