Hugh C Gammon

Hugh C was born on October 30th, 1829 in Putnam, Indiana, United States.¹ Hugh C's father was Dozier Brawner Gammon and his mother was Lavina Letitia Turbeville. His paternal grandparents were Harris Gammon and Elizabeth Bettie Brawner. He had five brothers and a sister, named George Washington, John W, James Wilkenson, William Eaton, Lee Harris and Minerva Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 54 on January 2nd, 1884 in Ashland, Saunders, Nebraska, United States.
