Angharad ferch RHYS

Angharad was born in 1155 in Llandilo, Carmarthenshire, , Wales. Angharad's father was Rhys ap Gruffydd and her mother was Gwenlian verch Madog. Her paternal grandparents were Prince Gruffydd ap Rhys and Gwenlian of Gwynedd verch Gruffydd; her maternal grandparents were Madog ap MAREDUDD and Susannah ferch GRUFFYDD. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Gruffydd ap, Hywel, Cadwgan, Rhys, Maredydd, Philip, Tangwystl, Nest, Gwenllian and Margred verch. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 71 in August 1226 in , , , Wales.
