Anne was born on February 27th, 1718 in Rillaar.  Anne's father was Marcus Vlemis (Marc) and her mother was Maria Dierckx.  Her paternal grandparents were Marcus Vleminx and Adriana Nys. She had a brother and a sister, named Gérard and Cathérine.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Henri, Philippe, Jean, Marc, Arnauld, Gérard, Adrienne, Elisabeth, Marie and Anne.
