Petronella was born on December 14th, 1809 in Lubbeek.  Petronella's father was Joannes Babtista Ons and her mother was Maria Verrek.  Her paternal grandparents were Petrus Ons and Maria Minnen. She had a brother named Ons.  She was the older of the two children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Joannes Babtista, Petrus, Theodorus, Anna Maria, Petronella, Jacobus, Anna Elisabeth and Maria Elisabeth.  She died at the age of 2 on April 25th, 1812 in Lubbeek.
