Albert was born in year 1884 in Greenwich. Albert's father was Thomas Langdon Whitaker and his mother was Margaret Maria Smith. His paternal grandparents were George Whitaker and Mary Ann King; his. He was the fifth of six children. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, George, Marion, Helen and Rose. He had two half-brothers named Thomas and Henry. He died, at the age of 76 years, in year 1960 in Beechworth, Victoria, Australia.
