Marion was born on October 21st, 1873 in 21 Nelson Place Bermondsey. Marion's father was Thomas Langdon Whitaker and her mother was Margaret Maria Smith. Her paternal grandparents were George Whitaker and Mary Ann King; her. She was the oldest of six children. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, George, Albert, Helen and Rose. She had two half-brothers named Thomas and Henry. She died, at the age of 79 years, 1 month and 4 days, on November 25th, 1952 in Teddington.
