Henry was born on July 27th, 1869 in Birchington, Kent. Henry's father was Thomas Langdon Whitaker and his mother was Elinor Richardson. His paternal grandparents were George Whitaker and Mary Ann King; his. He was the youngest of two children. He had a brother named Thomas. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, George, Albert, Marion, Helen and Rose. He died, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 4 days, on December 31st, 1940 in Greenwich.

This man looked after his nephew Stanley for most of his childhood. He was born in Birchington Kent and lived in 1901at 169 High St Plumstead with his wife Laura who was 36 at that time and born in A> shford Kent.
