Mary was born in year 1796 in Trimley St. Mary,Suffolk and was baptised on November 28th, 1796 in Trimley St. Mary,Suffolk.1 Mary's father was Robert Topple and her mother was Martha Cook. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Cook and Elizabeth. She was the third of five children. She had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, John, George and Sarah. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel, Isaac, Henry, Lydia and Elizabeth.
