Richard was born in year 1768 in St Issey, Cornwall and was baptised on April 17th, 1768. Richard's father was John Bullock and his mother was Phillipa Arthur. His paternal grandparents were John Bullock and <Unknown>; his. He was the sixth of eight children. He had four brothers and three sisters, named David, John, Richard, William, Mary, Mary and Catherine.
