József Körtvélyesi

József's father was László Körtvélyesi and his mother was Emilia Borcsik.  His paternal grandparents were Mihály Mátyás Körtvélyessy and Mária Vályi. He had six brothers and two sisters, named József, László, István, Sándor, János, István, Mária and Ilona.  He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Margit.  He died at the age of 30 on March 26th, 1887 in Kisvárda.¹
