Edward was born on May 27th, 1761.  Edward's father was John H. Pace and his mother was Susanna Houchin.  His paternal grandfather was Joseph Pace and his paternal grandmother is Ann Bashford; his maternal grandfather was Edward Houtchin and his maternal grandmother is Hannah Aner. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named William, Stephen, George, Susannah, Murry, Charles, James, Elizabeth, Francis, Rachel, Mary and Ann.  He died at just 25 days old on June 21st, 1761.
