Edward Best

Edward was born in 1837 in Dittisham, Devon. Edward's father was William Best and his mother was Susanna Finch. His maternal grandparents were James Finch and Grace Elliott. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Richard, William, John, Ebenezer, Harriet, Mary, Susan and Louisa. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children.
