Nathan, known as Nathan, was born in 1780 in Jones, North Carolina.  Nathan's father was John ISLER.  His paternal grandfather was Federick ISLER and his paternal grandmother is Sarah BONNER. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named John, William, Nancy, Catherine, Polly, Huldy, Harriett, Rebecca and Winnifred.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  Nathan, known as Nathan, is no longer alive.
