Peter Thornton

Peter was born in June 1859 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England. Peter's father was Thomas Thornton and his mother was Mary Ann Fortune. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Thornton and Harriet Asquith; his maternal grandparents were John Fortune and Elizabeth (Fortune). He had two brothers and a sister, named Jonathan, Samuel and Nancy. He was the youngest of the four children.
