Luke Petyt

Luke was born in November 1723 in Bolton Abbey, Yorkshire, England. Luke's father was William Petyt and his mother was Mary Day. His paternal grandparents were George Pettyt and Ann Simpson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George, Sylvester, William, Robert, George, Anne and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 53 in January 1777 in Skipton, Yorkshire, England.
