Robert Pettyt

Robert was born in 1730 in Garnshaw, Bolton Abbey, Yorkshire, England. Robert's father was William Petyt and his mother was Mary Day. His paternal grandparents were George Pettyt and Ann Simpson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George, Sylvester, Luke, William, George, Anne and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 40 in October 1770 in Litton, Yorkshire, England.
