Anne (Nancy) Pettyt

Anne (Nancy) was born in 1832 in Kettlewell, Yorkshire, England.¹ Anne (Nancy)'s father was John Pettyt and her mother was Annis Walker. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Pettyt and Agnes Ibbotson. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, George, Ellen, Esther, Annis, Alice, Mary Ann and Sarah Jane. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
