Stanley Petty

Stanley was born in 1890 in Colne, Lancashire, England.¹ Stanley's father was Emery Petty and his mother was Martha Bailey. His paternal grandparents were Richard Petty and Phillis Taylor. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph T, Walter, Emery, Lily, Phillis A, Ada and May. He was the youngest of the eight children.
