Emery Petty

Emery was born in September 1884 in Colne, Lancashire, England.¹ Emery's father was Emery Petty and his mother was Martha Bailey. His paternal grandparents were Richard Petty and Phillis Taylor. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph T, Walter, Stanley, Lily, Phillis A, Ada and May. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.
