Sarah Petty

Sarah was born in 1832 in Barnoldswick, Yorkshire, England.¹ Sarah's father was Richard Petty and her mother was Martha (Petty). She had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard, John, Sutcliffe Nelson, Joseph, Martha, Mercy, Mary, Ellen and Elizabeth. She was the eighth oldest of the ten children.
