Ellen Petty

Ellen was born in 1860 in Morton, Bingley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Ellen's father was Thomas Petty and her mother was Ellen Pickover. Her paternal grandparents were John Pettyt and Annis Walker. She had six sisters named Louisa, Zillah, Jane, Olivia, Thirza and Matilda. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
