Herbert Newiss

Herbert was born in September 1873 in Durham, Stockton On Tees, England.¹ Herbert's father was Thomas Newis and his mother was Mary A Dobson. His paternal grandparents were James Newis and Dorothy Lambert. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Herbert, Thomas, Thomas, Edith, Kate and Kate. He was the oldest of the seven children.
