Ann Newhouse

Ann was born in 1839 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ Ann's father was Thomas Newis and her mother was Mary Gow. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Newis and Sara (Newhouse). She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, George, Robert, James Gow, Thomas Ibotson, Sarah and Mary Ann. She was the oldest of the eight children.
