Lothair was born in 0941.  Lothair's father was King Louis The 4. (d'Outremer or Transmarinus) of The Carolingian Dynasty and his mother was Queen Consort Gerberga of The Ottonian dynasty.  His paternal grandparents were King Charles The 3. (The Simple) of The Carolingian Dynasty and Queen Consort Eadgifu of House Wessex; his maternal grandparents were King Henry (The Fowler) of The Ottonian dynasty and Queen Consort Matilda. He had a sister named Matilda.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 45 on March 2nd, 0986.
