Miguel The 1., known as The Absolutist, The Traditionalist and The Usurper, was born on October 26th, 1802.  The Absolutist, The Traditionalist and The Usurper's father was King John The 6. (The Clement) of House Braganza and his mother was Queen Consort Carlota Joaquina of House Bourbon.  His paternal grandparents were King Pedro The 3. of House Braganza and Queen Maria The 1. (The Pious and The Mad) of House Braganza; his maternal grandparents were King Charles The 4. of House Bourbon and Queen Consort Maria Luisa of House Bourbon-Parma. He had a brother named Pedro The 1. and The 4..  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 64 on November 14th, 1866.
