Robert was born on September 24th, 1779.  Robert's father was William Islington (Tuck) and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Aldridge.  His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Mary Tuck.  He was the fourth of ten children.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, James, Jeremiah, Sarah, Mary, Jane, Ann and Rebecca.
