Jeremiah was born on May 9th, 1794.  Jeremiah's father was William Islington (Tuck) and his mother was Elizabeth (Betty) Aldridge.  His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Mary Tuck.  He was the nineth of ten children.  He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Robert, James, Sarah, Mary, Jane, Ann and Rebecca.
