Maria Kautz

Maria was born on January 18th, 1850 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).¹

Maria's father was Karl Kautz and her mother was Karolina Wilhelmina Sprecher (Kautz, Hennig). Her maternal grandparents were Gottfried Sprecher and Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). She had two brothers and two sisters, named Friedrich, Johann, Louise and Justina. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Samuel, Christina, Susanna and Karolina. She died at 10 months old on November 18th, 1850 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).¹
