Alexander Motion

Alexander was born on June 6th, 1754 in St. Andrews and St. Leonards. Alexander's father was James Motion and his mother was Elspeth Melvin. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Motion and Janet Richard. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George, James, Janet, Elspeth, Anna and Katherine. He was the oldest of the seven children.
