William Barclay

William was born on February 19th, 1863 in Dundonald.

- Born in Templeton, Dundonald

William's father was James Barclay and his mother was Martha Wilson Tyre. His paternal grandparents were John Barclay and Mary Wallace; his maternal grandparents were William Tyre and Margaret Millar. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, James, David, Thomas, Robert, William, Hugh, Margaret, Mary and Martha. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died from cancer at the age of 55 on February 19th, 1918 in Prestwick.

Death Notes
- Died in Kingcase Nursing Home, Prestwick from Heart attack after having stomach cancer for 12 months. Usual residence West Brockloch Farm, Maybole.
